For nearly 30 years, the EU has funded the Erasmus programme, which has enabled over three million European students to spend part of their studies at another higher education institution or with an organisation in Europe. Erasmus + (2021 - 2027) continues what has been tried and tested, but opens up new perspectives and opportunities.
Erasmus + pursues the following overarching program objectives. It will:
- Enable learning mobility for individuals in the field of formal education.
- Promote non-formal learning mobility and the participation of young people and professionals in the youth sector.
- Initiate the learning mobility of trainers and specialists in sport.
- Enabling cooperation, inclusion, creativity and innovation (in formal education also excellence) in all areas at the level of organizations and politics.
